In 1997, Elmdea had a major health crisis that would have stopped most people in their tracks. To this day she notes that she does not know if she was misdiagnosed or if she healed herself. She trained hundreds of people during that time in medical terminology, anatomy and medical procedures as well as managing multiple offices over her 20 year corporate career.
